Hello, I'm the assistant principal at Dishman Hills High School. I have been here for almost 5 years and in education for 20 years. Before coming to DHHS, I was a behavior intervention teacher for 15 years at the secondary level. I'm a proud Zag, Vandal, Coug! I attended Gonzaga University for both undergrad and graduate school in education, applied behavior analysis and philosophy, at the University of Idaho, I received a masters in curriculum & educational leadership and then went to Washington State University for my administration certificate.
I love learning and challenging myself to grow as an educator and person. I'm passionate about being a part of a small choice school that supports students and families in having an authentic and rewarding high school experience. My other role in WVSD is as the McKinney-Vento (homeless) & Foster Care Liaison. I strive to connect students and families with meaningful resources to remove barriers for their success in school.
I have three energetic daughters that keep me very busy whenever I'm not at school. Our family loves to travel, participate in community events, and hang out with family and friends. I feel blessed to have a wonderful family and serve in a school that is like my second family. DHHS is the most diverse and supportive school community I have ever been a part of, Go Griffins!!!
