Mumps Update and Vaccine Clinic

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Spokane County is currently experiencing a Mumps outbreak. There are currently NO cases at Dishman Hills High School. If there is an outbreak at Dishman, students who do not have a record of up-to-date vaccinations may be excluded by Spokane Regional Health District for at least 26 days.

There are many students at Dishman whose records we do not yet have. Please turn in up-to-date vaccination records by having your student’s health care provider fax the records to 509-891-5052 OR send the hard copy with your student to be turned in to the front office.
If you have questions about whether we have your students records, please call the main office, 509-927-1100.

If your student is not up-to-date with their vaccinations, please send them to the vaccine clinic on Thursday, Jan 26th, at West Valley High School from 3-5:30 pm. Students should bring their insurance cards and Walgreens will bill insurance. For all un-insured students, vaccine will still be provided free of charge (supply of free vaccine is limited).
