Get Involved

There are many ways you can become involved at Dishman Hills High School. For specific information on our Title I Family Engagement, please see our Family Engagement Policy.

Our volunteers at Dishman play a vital role in our school's success.

Volunteer opportunities in the school

We have many opportunities for people to volunteer in our school. How will you use your time and talent to make a difference? Please click the link to fill out volunteer paperwork.

Maker's Space:

Open space for students needs volunteers to monitor student behavior, ensure no students participate in Maker’s Space activities who should be in session and facilitate a fun atmosphere of learning and engagement.

Griffin Grove:

Volunteers can run the student store, collect money and organize items.

Tutoring Center:

Help students with homework and quizzes taken on paper or the summit platform. Walk students through assignments and help them develop learning skills. Basic algebra skills helpful but no prior experience required. For questions regarding volunteering contact Cullen Lonigan at

Griffin Outfitters:

We accept volunteers to help with the washing, sorting, and organizing of clothing donations.

Food Pantry:

Sort expired goods, organize milk donations, and make bags of food for students to take home after school.

Donation Opportunities for Our School

We are currently accepting donations for gently-used clothing, dishware, towels, comforters, and common household items.

We are in need of winter clothing for both young men and women.  Especially winter coats, hats, and gloves.

Griffin Grove:

We are currently accepting donations for items to sell in our student store.  Items can be any size, and range from artwork and picture frames to knickknacks and new clothing.

We are also accepting donations for larger, raffle items for the student store.  Raffle ideas: sleds, electronics, musical instruments, skateboard

Food Pantry:
