Zayne Starr
Hi, my name is Zayne Starr (he/him) and I am a scientist with a passion for education. I have lived in Spokane my whole life and taken advantage of our amazing alternative schools, earning my primary and secondary education entirely project based. I graduated from Whitworth in 2022 with a degree in chemistry and education, and have since found my vocation teaching math and science in alternative learning environments. Before teaching I was a barista, a pizza chef, and a network installation technician. Outside of the classroom, I build PCs as a hobby, play and run D&D sessions, enjoy all board sports, and rock climb whenever I get the chance. I will nerd out on anything I'm involved in, especially when it comes to experiments and technology. At the same time, I feel deeply connected to nature; my favorite trail is The Rocks of Sharon. I can't wait to share with you my passions, and learn from yours!
