I am very excited to be a part of Dishman Hills High School and contribute to its educational legacy. Prior to obtaining my teaching certificate, I earned my undergraduate degrees in history and political science from Eastern Washington University and worked as a financial aid counselor with the University of Idaho. I thoroughly enjoyed working with students and decided I wanted to have a greater, positive impact. I completed my graduate degree from Whitworth University and spent the first five years of my career in White Swan, Washington before returning home to Spokane. The most enjoyable part of teaching is helping students realize their potential and ambitions and encouraging them to become the best versions of themselves. Outside of the classroom, I am an avid reader and soccer fan. I also love classic horror movies, building Lego sets, and spending time with my friends at local community events.
