Jeremy TeGrotenhuis
Hi there! I'm Jeremy TeGrotenhuis, and I'm excited to be teaching English and Social Studies at Dishman Hills High School. I graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelors in History and Philosophy in 2014, spent a year teaching ESL in Taiwan, then a few years as a bookseller at Auntie's Bookstore before getting my Masters in Teaching from Whitworth in 2018. For the past six years I've been teaching English at Innovation High School. In my free time I write fiction (mostly fantasy novels, but I'm always trying to branch out!), read, go hiking, play games (board, tabletop, and video!) and spend time with my wife Hannah and our two cats Sonya and Ofelia. I look forward helping students at Dishman develop their curiosity and creativity.
