Every day is a great day to be a Griffin! I have been in education for 13. Almost all of those have been spent working at Dishman. I started my career in education as a business and marketing CTE teacher at CBE (Contract Based Education). I earned my MBA and later my Master's in Educational Leadership from WGU. I was the Dean of Dishman Hills HS and later the Career and Technical Education Director for West Valley School District before returning to Dishman as the principal.

I believe every student deserves the opportunity to choose their future. I've worked in program development expanding STEM opportunities in our middle and high schools, started a project-based choice program for grades 8-12, and developed and implemented technology to track and improve attendance reporting, compliance, communication, budget tracking and reporting, all while increasing graduation rates, SBA scores, and access to AP and dual credit classes. I'm an innovative problem solver looking to improve the lives of those I work with.

I have five children at home and we spend a lot of time going to various activities for the kids. We are lucky to have a large family here in town that we get to spend time with often. Every day I come to work I am amazed by the staff and students that I get to serve. I am honored to be called the principal of this school.
