Dishman Hills High School students, Trinity, Ashton, and Lyric Powell talk about what brought them to this school and why they stayed. We believe in partnering with our community to prepare our students for college, career, and citizenship. We do this by creating unique, high-rigor programs that respond to the needs of our students, staff, and community. We are the West Valley School District.

I didn't think I was going to make it but I thought about staying I can't even like guess what it would be like right here like I knew we were going to probably graduate early we are going to make friends in like the teachers are always just like by your side I didn't want to go to school even when we switched here I still with a in school because of the school until I started going and I realize that the school is not a normal school I went from failing every class and now I'm graduated in Garner starting until next month my mom forced him to come here cuz it's always getting in trouble a lot in public high school like a normal Traditional High School I guess I was a little scared to I thought it was going to be a bunch of weird kids compared to Meadow School found that all these kids are normal kids and they're not weird and it's a lot cooler here cuz I feel like I'm out of school there is these groups of kids and here we all hang out we don't talk to each other super cool sounds crazy but I started to realize that teachers actually real people feel like air is here always believed in our education that's why they were so passionate about giving us an education and a lot of students were like we'll know I can't do it and they're like no you can like they would suddenly don't ever say that okay cool cool cool cool
